Sado-Masochist World
i’m working on a new version of my sado-masochist world print, which i’ve done and redone many many times over the last 3 years. it looks like it’s going to be an improvement on the previous versions, so i’m happy about that.
it represents mother nature whipping the earth while the people ask for more. we don’t like the pain, but we also don’t like the effort needed in order to avoid it.

shampoo is a myth
a great little video about how you or someone you know is slowly deteriorating their health with cosmetics. i think it might even explain why studies show that women have more psychological problems than men.
the only solution in my opinion is to eat healthy, if you’re healthy you have a nice skin and nothing really needs to be covered up. personally, i don’t wear any make up at all and look better without it. i used moisturizing creams for a long time, and my skin looks much better since i stopped using it.
if you’re having skin problems, something you eat is probably causing the problem. and anything you put “on” your skin is just like eating it (you have pores on your skin).
same thing for shampoo, the good news is, you don’t even need shampoo! it’s just another one of those false need created by businesses to get some of your money in their pockets. you only need to rinse your hair thoroughly with water every morning. when you first stop using shampoo though, since you might have been using it since you were a baby, your hair might go through a “transition period”. the healthier you eat during that period the easier the transition. and the better you eat, the better your hair looks.
it’s not complicated, everything that goes inside your body affects how you feel, think, your health, your looks, etc. plus, if you decide to eat healthy rather than use cosmetics you can save tons of money.
what better way to look healthy then to actually be healthy?

Since I have a day job and am having a hard time finding time to make art, I decided that if anyone is willing to donate any amount, with a minimum of $1, I will make a post with a link to their site or blog, i will also have a special section for my supporters and it will be added to the links section of my site. You may also provide a short description, but please note that I will not come up with a description for you and no pictures are allowed. And no porn sites either.
Maybe you don’t know much about SEO, maybe you do. But by far the best way of getting up there in the search results is by getting other people on the net to link to your site. Another SEO tip by the way, is that you should carefully select the words you will use for your link. These should be relevant to the content of your site. And if you were to make a significant donation, let’s say $20 or more, I’d be happy to add your name (with your url) to the credits of my upcoming (and first) comic book, “Over the ill” (self-published through Lulu.com). Which will be all about how I was able to improve my health after 12 years of feeling sick all the time. So it’s for a good cause.
I feel like my drawings have taken a big leap recently and that I finally deserve to get paid for my hard work. Not that I’m getting greedy but I wouldn’t mind doing this for a living. I’m aware it’s a long shot but i think it’s worth the try. Or if I can at least work at my other job a little less and do this more often, I’d be very happy with that too.

my first
someone asked me (by e-mail) for an autograph last night for the first time. so here it is, my very first autograph… which i haven’t really figured out how to autograph my name yet, and it’s looking a little weak. I haven’t sold any sketch yet so this is also the first one i’m sending out to anyone in the world. It was a lot of fun to draw and I realized I enjoy sending drawings out to people, it’s nice to spread some joy.
of course i can’t do this for free, i also have to make money somehow, i’m a strong believer that artists should get paid for their work. it took me 30 something years to be able to draw this way and it takes several trials and errors to get one decent drawing. it’s normal not to get paid until you get good but once you’ve acquired some solid skills i think we deserve to get paid. that being said, i’m willing to draw a sketch for anyone for $7 plus shipping costs…
