my comics stem from two passions: drawing and scrutinizing. i aim for both visual stimulation and intellectual entertainment. drawing pretty pictures is fun but, for the most part, it’s the meaning and messages behind them that drive me. i want to use my medium to explore psychological, social and environmental issues, from a positive/realistic/negative stance. i certainly don’t have all the answers, but i enjoy searching for them.

i feel my job as an artist is to bring forth the issues of the day, get people thinking, communicating and introspecting. i want my readers to have something akin to a conversation with my art. i think comics have the potential to be a pleasurable way to learn and perhaps my small contribution, as little as it may be, can help someone do so.
