curb alertness print
this print kind of insults drivers saying that most people can’t drive. haha. well sorry, but that’s based on personal experience. i recently moved to a quieter neighborhood, but in the area where i lived before, i used to make encounters with bad drivers on almost a daily basis. i think reflexes also have to do with health and a lot of people are not really taking good care of themselves. when i was unhealthier i remember i was kind of clumsy and would spill and bump into things all the time… today i don’t wear as many bruises on my skin.

the painter
a new drawing for my site (on the top left corner). painted with my brand new and first ever Winsor & Newton sable brush. i love it and i want to buy more.
i think i like this drawing, i’m going to work on adding a background…
quite representative of the fact that i’m just starting to learn how to use a brush.

might as well
this print is about the might as well attitude, meaning when we don’t think about the long-term consequence of our actions. or when we just don’t think very much period.
like here she’s eating ice cream even though she knows it will probably make her feel sick. and there’s global warming going on in the background, caused mostly by our “might as well” way of living.

can i keep it

i came up with this this morning. for now i’m calling it “can i keep it”. she’s holding the sun, a metaphor for happiness, but life might not let her get away with being happy for too long.
