Dan Piraro’s cartoons are the most intelligent cartoons i’ve ever read and for that i love them. i discovered him about 3 years ago while going through my boyfriend’s books. i just subscribed to his blog! for more info about him and his cartoons take a look at bizarro.com

my drawing skills were not so great when i drew this… but that’s how anyone learns, right?
what i was trying to communicate, which might or might not be clear, is simply that knowledge can help in keeping you out of trouble. and that the world, and other people will most likely have no pity if you’re not aware of something and will go right ahead and take sweet advantage of you.
i came up with the text maybe 5 years ago… i can’t say i’m very proud of the drawing on this, i might re-draw it eventually. this is the first comic i ever tried to draw, not this version though, i must have re-drawn it at least 5 times and this is the latest one.
still don’t know what i was thinking by making all the squares the same size… my guess is i probably wasn’t.
all i’m trying to say here is that relationships are better when all parties involved want the same thing from each other.
